CollaCare Film
CollaCare Film (branded as Collieva® in the US) is a sterile, transparent, semi-occlusive collagen membrane based on Innocoll's CollaFilm® Membrane technology, which allows the clinician to view the wound bed and assess healing in-situ.
Description
The CollaCare Film dressing is 30 microns in thickness, and composed primarily of Type-1 purified collagen at a concentration of 4mg/cm2. CollaCare™ Film is a bioactive collagen dressing indicated for the management of ulcers, burns, split-skin donor sites and other dermal wounds requiring temporary dermoplasty.
Indication
CollaCare Film is used for the lining of tissue defects and management of partial and full thickness wounds such as:
- Pressure ulcers
- Venous stasis ulcers
- Diabetic ulcers
- First and second degree burns
- Split-skin door sites
- Lesions and superficial injuries.
