ProColl is a low profile wound management device derived from renatured fibrillar type 1 collagen. The product is manufactured using Innocoll’s patented CollaPress™ Technology.
Description
ProColl’s low profile allows for ease of handling and manipulation to various wound types. In the presence of exudate the collagen matrix transforms into a soft, gel-like sheet conforming to the shape of the wound bed, maintaining intimate contact with wound surface.
The biodegradable collagen matrix provides a scaffold for cellular invasion and capillary growth.
Indication
ProColl is indicated for the management of wounds including diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, ulcers caused by mixed vascular etiologies, full thickness & partial thickness wounds, abrasions, traumatic wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, dehisced surgical wounds.
