CollaGUARD™/Collieva™
CollaGUARD™ (branded as Collieva™ in the US) is a bioactive collagen dressing indicated for the management of ulcers, burns, split-skin donor sites and other dermal wounds requiring temporary dermoplasty. The product is a sterile, transparent, semi-occlusive collagen membrane based on Innocoll's CollaRx® Membrane technology, which allows the clinician to view the wound bed and assess healing in-situ. The CollaGUARD dressing is 30 microns in thickness, and composed primarily of Type-1 purified collagen at a concentration of 4mg/cm2. The product is a class III medical device approved in both Europe and the US.
The product is sold in the US by CollMED Laboratories, and is available for out-licensing in all territories outside of the US.
