LiquiColl®
LiquiColl® is a collagen gel designed and developed for tissue engineering and localized delivery of therapeutic agents. It is comprised of fibrillar collagen homogeneously dispersed in buffered saline. The dispersion is stabilized and sterilized by radiation according to a proprietary manufacturing process.
LiquiColl® can be injected into post-operative or post-traumatic cavities and other tissue defects such as fistulas, canals and diverse porous structures including osteoporotic bones. It can also be applied topically as a semi-liquid filling material and matrix for the treatment of skin lesions, wounds and burns. Unlike solubilized and cross-linked collagens often used in tissue augmentation, native collagen supports granulation and epithelialization and so accelerates the natural wound healing process.
